①What is an Infinity Fortress?
The Infinity Fortress that appears in “Demon Slayer” is the home base of the demons, a space that can only be entered by being forcibly transported there by Narime’s blood demon art.
Although it is called a stronghold, demons do not always stay there, but it is a place where they gather in case of emergency.
In the story, it is used as a meeting place for the demons when the Twelve Kizuki is defeated, and it is also the place for the final battle between the demon killing squad and the first quarter moon in the final part of the story, which may leave a deep impression on many people.
②What is an inn that looks just like Infinity Fortress?
Infinity Fortress is depicted as the stronghold of the demons, but there is actually an inn that looks just like Infinity Fortress that has become a topic of conversation among fans.
The inn is called “Okawaso” in Fukushima Prefecture, located in a place rich in nature along a mountain stream.
The atrium inside the inn has the atmosphere of an infinity castle, and the shamisen performance on the floating stage on the first floor is reminiscent of Narime.
At the souvenir store in the same city, sales of wooden swords are increasing, and the black wooden swords, the same color as Sumijiro’s Nichirin swords, seem to be particularly popular.
Okawaso is not officially recognized as a holy place just because it looks like one.
At this point, there is no collaboration with “Demon Slayer”, so it is important to note that there are no official goods for sale.
However, for those who are fans of the series, it is worth a visit just for the similarity in atmosphere, so for those who are interested, I will now introduce the details of Okawaso.
③About Okawaso
Okawaso has a natural hot spring, and the view from the outdoor bath is truly spectacular.
The spring is a sulfate spring, which is said to be effective in healing neuralgia, arthritis, and various other ailments.
Since Ashinomaki Onsen, which has a source temperature of 60 degrees Celsius and a large amount of hot water, is drawn to several hot spring facilities, you can enjoy a variety of hot springs such as indoor baths and footbaths in addition to the outdoor baths.
The aerial open-air bath can also be reserved for private use, so please check it out if you are interested.
One of the charms of Okawaso is its cuisine, which uses seasonal ingredients from Fukushima Prefecture.
For breakfast, you can enjoy a healthy breakfast made with local ingredients, and for dinner, you can enjoy an excellent kaiseki meal.
For dinner, you can enjoy excellent kaiseki cuisine. Sake and local sake carefully selected by a sake taster are also available for those who like to drink.
